Wales: Land of whose Fathers?

A Land of Whose Fathers

“With Newport’s Labour council destroying a monument to Welsh working class chartist struggle – their vandalism of history matching their vandalism of services through voting through Con-Dem cuts – what better time to remind ourselves of Wales’ working class history?” says Geoff Jones, the author of a new Socialist Party Wales / Plaid Sosialaidd Cymru publication about the history of the Welsh working class titled Land of whose Fathers?

Come along to the official launch of the pamphlet, hear Geoff speak and join the discussion on Welsh history and the history of its people. You can also purchase the pamphlet on the night for £4. All welcome!

At The Club, Queen Victoria Road, Llanelli, SA15 2TL at 7:30pm on Thursday, October 24th.
